Add an optional email signup to your download page
Add a consent-based email signup to your download page and manage the information buyers voluntarily submit.
Email capture is optional and separate from Etsy account data. Pick Up My Files does not request Etsy buyer email access: the buyer enters an address directly on your download page and chooses whether to consent.
A clear choice for the buyer
The email capture block shows the signup fields and consent language on the page. A submission is accepted only when the buyer completes the required consent.
Give buyers a reason to sign up
Explain what subscribers will receive, such as shop updates or news about new releases, while keeping purchased-file delivery available whether or not the buyer subscribes. Links in later messages can point buyers back to the seller’s Etsy shop.
